The 2026 International Roadcheck has logged 6,406 inspections and 11,010 violations through two days, with federal records showing 2,055 out-of-service orders issued across 5,217 carriers. Day 2 added approximately 4,826 inspections and 1,559 OOS orders to cumulative totals. The out-of-service rate stands at 32.3 percent, nearly double the 18 percent benchmark from the full 2025 event. Pennsylvania leads enforcement activity with 1,156 cumulative inspections—939 on Day 2 alone—comprising nearly 20 percent of national Day 2 volume. Oklahoma and Kentucky follow with 533 and 399 inspections respectively. The three states account for 32 percent of all inspections. Operators running northeast corridors including I-78, I-76, and I-81 should expect continued high inspection rates.
