Miami-based cargo carrier 7Air has tapped Iraq Pacheco to serve as interim chief executive and interim chief financial officer, the airline announced May 28. Pacheco takes over from Amasvido Rodriguez, who previously held the CEO role. The carrier said Pacheco will oversee strategic direction, operational performance and financial management as it pursues growth initiatives. Pacheco brings experience from prior CFO positions at Miami Air International and World Atlantic Airlines. The move comes after 7Air promoted Juan Nunez to accountable executive and chief operating officer in March. Nunez had served as director of flight operations since October 2023. The FAA Part 121-certified carrier operates four Boeing 737-800SFs with 22,000-kg capacity and 6,380 cu ft of cargo space each and plans to add a Boeing 767 freighter. 7Air received FAA certification in February 2025 and provides ACMI, scheduled, charter and ad-hoc services across the US, Central America and Caribbean.
