Advance Auto Parts Deepens OneRail Tie-Up for Store-Based Same-Day Delivery

Advance Auto Parts has expanded its partnership with last-mile delivery software provider OneRail to enable same-day fulfillment from store locations. The retailer leverages OneRail's delivery orchestration platform for real-time shipping decisions and access to local delivery capacity through API connections. Under the arrangement, Advance Auto Parts retains control of fulfillment decisions and inventory management while OneRail optimizes routing and transportation logistics. The platform coordinates delivery decisions and routing processes, directing drivers to multiple store locations to complete orders and identifying faster delivery alternatives to reduce reliance on slower scheduled movements. The companies have partnered since 2022, with OneRail helping Advance Auto Parts maximize inventory utilization across its store network. OneRail Founder and CEO Bill Catania said the platform enables the retailer to move orders and inventory more efficiently through its distribution system.
