Aircraft lessor AerCap has signed lease agreements with China Southern Air Logistics for three converted Boeing 777-300ERSF freighters. The aircraft are converted by Israel Aerospace Industries through its Bedek Aviation Group program. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2027, with subsequent aircraft arriving in the first and second quarters of 2028. The twin-engine jets offer substantial range and payload capabilities powered by GE90 engines and will integrate into China Southern's existing 777 fleet. Li Xiao, chairman of CSA Logistics, cited the agreement as supporting the airline's strategy to expand intercontinental routes. AerCap CEO Aengus Kelly noted the transaction strengthens the lessor's relationship with the China Southern Group, describing it as a key player in global air transportation.
