Air China Cargo has exercised options to purchase four additional A350 freighters, bringing its total order to ten aircraft. The carrier initially committed to six A350Fs in November 2025 and has now converted options on four more units. The decision underscores confidence in the wide-body freighter's capabilities for long-haul international operations. With a maximum range of 8,700 kilometers and payload capacity reaching 111 tonnes, the A350F addresses growing demand across global air cargo markets. Air China Cargo's fleet expansion reflects broader strategy adjustments as the carrier operates eight Airbus A330-200 passenger-to-freighter conversions delivered through January 2026. The A350F program has garnered significant industry backing, with 101 total orders logged from 14 customers as of late April. The aircraft strengthens Air China Cargo's positioning in premium international freight corridors.
