Air China Cargo has launched its first global digital distribution partnership, making cargo capacity available through cargo.one for instant booking by freight forwarders across Europe and North America.

Freight forwarders can now quote, book and track shipments up to 5,000 kilograms on Air China Cargo services to seven Chinese destinations: Shanghai Pudong, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing and Hangzhou.

The partnership marks a milestone in Air China Cargo's digital transformation strategy. Lei Wang, general manager of sales and marketing, noted it extends the carrier's reach to thousands of additional freight forwarders worldwide while maintaining service quality.

Cargo.one's multimodal rate selection and AI capabilities help forwarders quote faster, improve accuracy, and optimize their operations. Cargo.one founder Moritz Claussen said the integration provides forwarders valuable access to Air China Cargo's capacity within an integrated operating system. Additional markets and capacity products are expected to become available through the platform.
