Air France KLM Martinair Cargo is expanding AI capabilities across its myCargo platform to accelerate customer transactions and reduce manual processing. The carrier introduced an AI-powered auto-fill feature that extracts shipment data from unstructured text sources. The feature automatically populates booking fields with dimensions, weight, and piece counts while cutting administrative workload and improving data accuracy. Concurrently, the cargo division is rolling out an AI-powered auto quote function designed to generate spot quotations rapidly. Customer requests submitted through myCargo or email trigger automatic quotations that significantly reduce response times. This enables customers to capitalize on market opportunities faster. GertJan Roelands, senior vice president commercial at AFKLMP, stated the initiatives represent early phases of broader commercial transformation. The carrier plans additional AI-driven solutions targeting the full customer journey, including personalized recommendations and predictive service capabilities.
