Alstom Canada announced June 15 that it will participate in the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations program, a nationally recognized framework for verifying continuous improvement in Indigenous relations. The PAIR program, established in 2001, provides participating organizations with management tools, reporting mechanisms and certification at bronze, silver, or gold levels. Performance is assessed across four areas: Leadership Actions, Employment, Business Development, and Community Relations. Michael Keroullé, President of Alstom Americas, said the commitment reflects the company's dedication to embedding reconciliation into operations and building trust-based relationships with Indigenous Peoples. Alstom Canada recognizes its activities occur on Indigenous territories. The company aims to support equitable partnerships, create employment opportunities, engage Indigenous businesses in its supply chain, and strengthen long-term relationships aligned with social and economic reconciliation principles.
