Anthropic stands as the last major technology company likely to launch an initial public offering this year, according to prediction market data. The company, which confidentially filed SEC paperwork in early June, commands 75% odds of announcing a public debut in 2026. OpenAI has ruled out going public this year, eliminating another anticipated megacap offering. Meanwhile, odds for other prominent private companies have collapsed throughout 2026. Plaid's IPO probability has plummeted from 50% in January to just 10%, while HR platform Deel dropped from even odds in February to 3%. Databricks faces just 1% odds of a public listing. The pullback reflects broader market headwinds, with the number of IPOs that priced this year down 33% compared to 2025.
