AscendTMS Integrates SearchCarriers Data to Bolster Carrier Vetting at No Cost

AscendTMS has integrated SearchCarriers' carrier intelligence database into its Carrier Verification and Qualification system. The integration offers freight brokers and shippers real-time vetting capabilities without additional fees, enabling users to verify carriers, evaluate brokers and assess transportation risks within their transportation management software. The partnership targets fraud prevention, double brokering schemes, identity theft and unsafe carrier selection while streamlining compliance workflows. AscendTMS' cloud platform serves more than 69,000 companies across 20 countries, ranging from small brokerages to multinational logistics firms. SearchCarriers aggregates and continuously updates carrier and broker data from multiple live sources. The enhanced CVQ platform can function as a primary vetting tool or supplementary validation alongside commercial platforms including Highway, MyCarrierPortal and Truckstop's RMIS. Officials said the collaboration extends enterprise-level compliance capabilities to smaller transportation companies lacking resources for advanced vetting systems.
