The Bank of France will probably revise down its 2026 economic-growth forecast after activity unexpectedly shrank in the third quarter, Governor Emmanuel Moulin said. European Central Bank officials have signaled that euro-area inflation will drop materially below 2% by end of 2027. Manufacturing activity shows signs of resilience, with reshoring initiatives and foreign direct investment supporting job creation. The Reshoring Initiative projects 25% growth in manufacturing jobs tied to reshoring in 2026, following 247,000 positions added in 2025. Central banks are balancing growth concerns against moderating price pressures as they determine monetary policy direction.
