Behnke Dedicated & Logistics has acquired Piedmont, South Carolina-based AG Freight, marking the Michigan carrier's strategic push into the Southeast region. The deal provides Battle Creek-based Behnke access to the Greenville market and positioning near Inland Port Greer, a major logistics hub. AG Freight operates full truckload, less-than-truckload, expedited and drayage services across the region. Behnke is a four-generation family operation managing a fleet exceeding 50 power units. The carrier provides dedicated and over-the-road transportation throughout the Midwest alongside warehousing and distribution capabilities. CEO Ben Behnke cited the Greenville area's manufacturing concentration and port proximity as natural complements to the carrier's existing service model. Calder Capital represented Behnke in the transaction, while Viking Mergers and Acquisitions advised AG Freight. Financial terms remained undisclosed.
