The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen ratified a new labor agreement with Delaware and Hudson Railway, securing general wage increases of 4 percent across the three-year contract period running through July 31, 2027. The deal, which commenced Aug. 1, 2024, maintains existing work rules and health and welfare benefits without modification. BLET General Chairman Ben Martin characterized the wage increases as providing compounded growth while preserving the integrity of current agreements and established practices. Division 87, representing D&H membership based in Green Island, New York, negotiated the contract through a team led by Martin, Local Chairman Ryan Crossman, and National Vice President James Logan. The CPR-D&H/PanAm General Committee of Adjustment framework governs the division's operations.
