BNSF's Farmer Featured at Rail Insights 2026 Conference

Katie Farmer, President and CEO of BNSF, will speak at the 12th Annual Rail Insights Conference on June 11, a virtual event bringing together industry leaders to discuss North American rail sector trends and challenges. Farmer, the first female chief executive of a Class I railroad and Railway Age's 2023 Railroader of the Year, brings more than three decades of experience across BNSF's major business functions. Railway Age Editor-in-Chief William C. Vantuono will engage Farmer in fireside chat-style conversations alongside other industry executives including Michael Miller, CEO of Genesee & Wyoming; Brian Comstock, President of the Americas at The Greenbrier Companies; and Rob Russell, Managing Partner at Russell-Kroese Partners. Discussion topics will encompass business growth, service quality, capital investment, technology, safety, and regulatory matters.
