Former Attorney General Pam Bondi testified Friday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, defending the Department of Justice's handling of the release of Epstein files. Bondi said the DOJ publicly released all required documents and evidence to the best of her knowledge, though she acknowledged redaction errors occurred during the process. She delegated oversight of the document review to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, stating she did not personally conduct the review. The DOJ released nearly 3 million pages of material, including thousands of videos and hundreds of thousands of images. Bondi was terminated in April by President Trump over dissatisfaction with her handling of the Epstein matter. Blanche, Trump's former criminal defense lawyer, now serves as acting attorney general.
