Bot Auto has reduced autonomous driving hardware costs to $50,000 per truck, undercutting industry standards of roughly $150,000, according to company leadership. The cost advantage stems from software-first architecture paired with Lenovo's AD1 compute unit and NVIDIA Hyperion hardware.

President and Chief Operating Officer Brett Suma said the approach eliminates capital-intensive spending on depreciating assets. Bot Auto completed its first fully humanless commercial load in April and now processes approximately 350 loads monthly. The company reported 270% revenue growth between May and August.

Gen 2 stack upfits begin in first quarter 2027. Founded in 2023, Bot Auto built its platform around artificial intelligence rather than adapting legacy robotics systems, enabling streamlined mass-produced computing solutions.
