Malta-based Bridges Air Cargo has brought its second Embraer E190F converted freighter into commercial service, expanding its cargo operations across Europe and North Africa. The aircraft, registered 9H-CLW, commenced operations on June 15 after arriving from Bratislava via Cologne. The carrier launched its first E190F in March and has since maintained regular service. Following entry into service, the freighter has connected Malta with Tripoli, Rome, and Cologne. The deployment reinforces Malta's role as a regional air cargo hub. Bridges, which obtained its Malta Air Operator's Certificate in 2023, offers logistics solutions for express and courier operations. The E190F provides 13,500 kg maximum structural payload and features 40% greater volume capacity than competing turboprops with substantially lower operating costs.
