Warren Buffett voiced confidence in Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh's ability to manage the central bank's dual mandate of price stability and employment. Warsh, appointed by President Donald Trump and confirmed by Congress, took the helm in May. During his initial meeting as chair in June, he held rates steady while signaling shifts in monetary policy direction. In Congressional testimony, Warsh pledged a policy overhaul aimed at addressing inflation. Buffett told CNBC that while Warsh cannot execute the role flawlessly, the chairman is committed to achieving the Fed's 2% inflation target and maximum employment goals. "He cares about the country," Buffett said, noting that Fed-level policy decisions are often tough and limit perfect outcomes.
