C.H. Robinson has acquired DeSpir Logistics, an Illinois-based carrier specializing in secure transportation and cargo escort services for mission-critical, high-value freight across North America. The transaction was valued at $75 million for a company with $62 million in revenues last year. The deal marks the first significant acquisition completed under CEO Dave Bozeman, who took the helm three years ago and signaled openness to deals at an investor conference last month. Robinson also quietly acquired Breaker19, an oilfield logistics specialist, in the fourth quarter of 2025. The company disclosed neither the purchase price nor deal terms for that acquisition. The company held nearly $160 million in cash and related assets on its balance sheet at the end of the first quarter, positioning it for continued growth through acquisition.
