Authorities recovered the stolen trailers and discovered cash concealed inside refrigerated units. The shipment appeared destined for out-of-state transport, possibly toward the southern border. Speaking at the Fraud Symposium in Cleveland, Lemm emphasized that cargo theft extends beyond isolated incidents and affects American consumers and supply chain integrity.
