CCT Auto Trans has acquired Livingston Vehicle Transportation Services, expanding its footprint across Canada's automotive hauling market. Livingston VTS operates seven locations nationwide and maintains partnerships with Canadian National for cross-country shipments, serving manufacturers and individual customers alike. The company brings an established driver base and fleet assets positioned in major Canadian cities. Under the acquisition, Livingston VTS will operate as CCT Vehicle Transportation Solutions, a subsidiary of CCT Group of Companies. CCT President Chad Doiron said the deal positions the carrier as Canada's sole provider offering open, enclosed, and rail vehicle transport services. The transaction enables CCT to leverage its existing customer relationships while expanding service capacity nationally. CCT operates a fleet of 90 open auto carrier units and more than 80 employees, including drivers. Livingston's workforce will transition to the new operation. The deal reflects broader consolidation across the automotive transport sector, following recent acquisitions by Acertus, Proficient Auto Logistics, and others in the space.
