CEVA Logistics is bolstering controlled air capacity across Asia-Pacific to North America with dual charter initiatives. The carrier launched a new service connecting Hanoi, Vietnam to Chicago, operating three times weekly with Boeing 777 freighters. The route consolidates cargo from multiple Vietnamese gateways including Danang and Ho Chi Minh City, targeting high-tech, industrial, retail and e-commerce sectors.
CEVA simultaneously renewed its Wuxi, China to Chicago programme for a second year, with CMA CGM Air Cargo operating twice-weekly Boeing 777 flights offering 100 tons capacity per departure. Both services funnel shipments through CEVA's 700,000 sq ft Chicago facility, featuring 350,000 sq ft of freight space, a 6,000 sq ft dual-chamber cold storage unit and FTZ capability. The gateway provides same-day processing with ETD, x-ray and K-9 inspection, reducing transit times. Customers can select Sustainable Aviation Fuel options through CEVA's carbon reduction portfolio.
