CH Robinson has rejected racketeering claims filed by six trucking companies in Texas federal court. The company stated the lawsuit mischaracterizes its carrier relationships and misrepresents testimony from a former employee.

The freight broker confirmed that carriers operating under the Super Ego network are no longer part of its freight network, though it declined to specify timing or reasons for the departure.

CH Robinson said all carriers it worked with maintained individual federal operating authority and were in good standing with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration during their relationships. The company disputed allegations that it won shipper business using carriers with artificially suppressed costs through safety and labor violations.

The complaint, filed September 23 in the Eastern District of Texas, names CH Robinson and Total Quality Logistics as defendants. Six carriers—Stevens Trucking, Western Flyer Express, Freymiller Trucking, IWX Motor Freight, Christenson Transportation and EOS—filed suit.
