CharterSync partnered with Atlas Air Worldwide to deliver humanitarian supplies to Venezuela following two devastating earthquakes in late June. The disasters killed more than 5,000 people and left 650,000 requiring assistance. A Boeing 767 freighter transported aid from Panama to Simón Bolívar International Airport in Caracas, where relief coordinators received the cargo for distribution to affected communities. Daniel Carriett, CharterSync's global cargo director, emphasized the importance of rapid aircraft mobilization during humanitarian crises. The effort joins broader industry response to the disaster. Earlier this week, Avianca and DSV jointly airlifted 58 tons of relief supplies aboard an Airbus A330F from Miami to Caracas, including medical equipment, food, hydration kits and hygiene products addressing urgent community needs.
