CMA CGM Air Cargo has rolled out allotment booking functionality on the CargoAi platform, enabling freight forwarders to manage recurring capacity agreements including allotments, block space agreements and pre-bookings. The capability is accessible through CargoAi's CargoMart booking service. The expansion provides forwarders with enhanced visibility into allocation utilization and pricing competitiveness through dedicated reporting tools. CargoAi Chief Executive Matt Petot noted the development streamlines operations without altering existing commercial arrangements between airlines and forwarders. CMA CGM first launched capacity on CargoAi in early 2025 across three online booking platforms. In June, CargoAi integrated its platform into major AI interfaces including ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude, reflecting observed shifts in how industry customers manage daily operations.
