CMA CGM Group will acquire FedEx Supply Chain for $1.4 billion enterprise value, substantially expanding the container line's North American logistics footprint through its CEVA Logistics subsidiary. The deal, expected to close this year, nearly triples CEVA's contract logistics operations in the region.

Beyond the acquisition, the two carriers plan multi-year commercial agreements spanning air and ocean freight beginning between now and 2028. CMA CGM and FedEx will collaborate on air cargo capacity solutions to improve aircraft utilization and long-haul flexibility across their global networks. CMA CGM becomes a preferred ocean carrier for FedEx under a non-exclusive arrangement.

The transaction requires customary regulatory approvals. The partnership enables FedEx to concentrate on high-value sectors including healthcare, automotive, aerospace and data centers while reinforcing CMA CGM's U.S. supply chain investments.
