Temperature-control systems provider Copeland acquired Dickson to bolster its healthcare and life sciences cold chain capabilities. The deal adds cloud-based monitoring and compliance technologies to Copeland's portfolio, enabling real-time visibility across pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution and patient care networks. Dickson's platform notifies shippers of potential temperature excursions before product loss occurs, a critical advantage in regulated healthcare environments. CEO Ross Shuster said the acquisition strengthens Copeland's ability to serve customers throughout every stage of the cold chain. Dickson President Rick Weiler noted the acquisition merges complementary technologies to protect temperature-sensitive products across complex supply chains. Copeland operates more than 200 million heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration installations across approximately 40 countries. Financial terms were not disclosed.
