Coupa executives outlined rapid expansion of artificial intelligence capabilities across procurement and supply chain operations at Coupa Inspire 2026 in Las Vegas. CEO Leagh Turner announced new product launches and the acquisition of Rossum, an intelligent document processing company. The platform developer has built more than 20 AI agents and plans substantial expansion over the coming year, with ambitions to embed automation directly into core workflows. Coupa's technology combines automation with mathematical optimization to evaluate transportation networks, warehouse capacity and supplier constraints. Operations that previously required four to six weeks can now be completed in four to six hours, according to company executives. Digital twin technology is gaining traction among manufacturers and retailers facing tariffs and geopolitical disruptions. It enables real-time modeling of sourcing shifts and inventory scenarios. The Foster City, California-based company serves hundreds of procurement and supply chain executives globally.
