Bruckner Truck Sales in Dallas has qualified technician Dayan for the VISTA World Championship, Volvo Trucks' international service competition taking place in Sweden. The achievement marks a top-three-percent finish among roughly 200 competing teams globally, with the Dallas location placing three squads in the semifinal round.

Dayan previously competed for Volvo Bulgaria before spending 15 years at Bruckner. He will face a significant challenge: European-spec cabover trucks unfamiliar to North American service personnel. European models operate under stricter emissions standards and feature more complex electronics than their U.S. counterparts. These differences accumulated over seven to eight years of regulatory divergence.

Volvo North America is conducting preparatory training in Greensboro, North Carolina, ahead of the September competition. The boot camp will equip the Dallas team with technical knowledge of European product architecture, emissions systems, and electronic configurations essential for success.
