Nauta, an AI-native operating system for global trade, secured strategic funding from BMW i Ventures, Bosch Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, and Yamaha Motor Ventures. The company already operates in more than eight countries with 8,000 suppliers and reaches 60 countries through its client network. CEO Valentina Jordan said AI agents themselves will become commoditized within months, with competitive advantage instead resting on data infrastructure. Nauta's platform integrates ERP, TMS, WMS and OMS systems alongside unstructured sources like email and spreadsheets where operators conduct up to 90% of their work. The system continuously ingests contracts, arrival notices and external signals including weather events and port disruptions. Task-specific agents deployed atop this data foundation help operators reduce stockouts, detention and demurrage costs. Invoice matching for accounts payable represents a high-value application.
