Delaware State Police arrested a California man after imposters posing as FedEx drivers stole an $680,000 electronics shipment from a New Castle warehouse. Two individuals presented fraudulent identification and shipping documents at a River Road facility, claiming to be company employees. They attached a cargo trailer to their tractor-cab unit and departed. The business discovered the paperwork was counterfeit and located the equipment at a Newark parking lot, prompting law enforcement response. Dushatdaman Parihar, 35, of Manteca, California, was apprehended near the recovered trailer at University Plaza. Officers discovered false credentials and a fictitious registration plate in his possession. State police recovered the trailer and goods intact and returned them to the shipper. Parihar faces felony theft charges for property exceeding $100,000, first-degree forgery, second-degree forgery, conspiracy charges, and a fictitious plate violation. A Justice of the Peace Court set his secured bond at $66,550. A second suspect remains unidentified as investigators continue their work.
