DHL Global Forwarding is expanding its transpacific capacity with a new dedicated freighter operation linking Southeast Asia to the United States. The forwarder will operate a three-times-weekly service featuring 100-ton capacity per flight secured through a long-term charter agreement. The rotation includes stops in Hanoi, Taipei, Anchorage, Chicago O'Hare, and Incheon. Road feeder services will connect cargo to final destinations upon US arrival. The expansion addresses growing demand from Southeast Asian manufacturers and shippers seeking predictable costs and supply chain stability amid volatile market conditions. DHL Global Forwarding's controlled capacity strategy targets oversized and high-value shipments, particularly cloud infrastructure equipment. The initiative complements the company's broader network expansion across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
