Dollar Tree has opened a new one-million-square-foot distribution center in Litchfield Park, Arizona, and plans to begin outbound deliveries next month. The climate-controlled facility will support approximately 700 stores across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. The Litchfield Park location represents one of the retailer's largest distribution centers and brings the company's total network to 19 facilities serving more than 9,240 stores throughout North America. The expansion aligns with Dollar Tree's strategy to position inventory closer to store locations and accelerate delivery times. The company has upgraded all distribution centers with temperature-controlled storage. It has also implemented cloud-based platforms to enhance inventory visibility and execution. Dollar Tree plans to open an additional one-million-square-foot distribution center in Marietta, Oklahoma, during spring 2027, replacing a facility destroyed by tornado damage in April 2024.
