DSV has begun weekly freight operations between Luxembourg and Chicago Rockford International Airport, marking the logistics company's latest expansion through the Illinois hub. The service adds to momentum at Rockford, where DSV established weekly Shanghai connections in November 2025 through its Shanghai Star Air Freight Charter programme. The Luxembourg route provides direct access to markets spanning North, Central and South America. Stefan Krikken, DSV's global head of airfreight, cited Rockford's operational flexibility and rapid transit capabilities as drivers for the expansion. The company plans to launch a Seoul Incheon service to Rockford later in 2026. Rockford has attracted additional capacity recently, with CEVA Logistics introducing Hanoi-Chicago charter flights and Kuehne+Nagel launching Frankfurt connections.
