Prosecutors have indicted eight individuals in New York for allegedly impersonating legitimate trucking carriers and misusing shipment data to divert freight across logistics facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia between October 2025 and April 2026. The scheme allegedly netted approximately $4.49 million in stolen goods across six separate incidents. Targeted commodities included lamb, cheese, beef, copper and cigarettes. The defendants — Murodullo Khasanov, Nodir Kobilov, Shavkatbek Mamadjanov, Rakhmiddin Abdullaev, Aleksey Vorobyev, Nizom Ismoilov, Doston Mardoev and Dilshod Nabiev — face conspiracy charges in the fourth degree and multiple counts of grand larceny. The Manhattan District Attorney's Office brought the indictment.
