Einride AB announced an all-stock acquisition of Flipturn, Inc., a charging and energy management software developer, valued at $38. The deal is expected to close in July 2026 pending regulatory approval.

The transaction creates what Einride describes as the industry's first fully vertically integrated electric freight technology stack. It combines charge point management, energy systems, and fleet connectivity services. Flipturn currently manages more than 250 megawatts of charging capacity across major truckload, autonomous, and last-mile delivery fleets, more than doubling Einride's existing infrastructure.

Flipturn's AI-driven software predicts charging times, optimizes power delivery, and reduces grid energy costs through time-of-use optimization and peak demand management. Einride CEO Roozbeh Charli said the acquisition addresses the significant gap between available electric vehicles and adequate charging infrastructure that has hindered fleet electrification across North America. The combined platform will provide fleets with cost-efficient and reliable access to third-party charging networks while managing energy costs.
