Envoy AI Launches Autonomous Operations Platform for Freight Brokers

Envoy AI unveiled Ellie Workforce on Tuesday, an operating system designed to handle autonomous freight execution tasks for brokerages. The San Francisco-based logistics technology company said the platform performs carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, compliance verification, document collection, communication coordination and shipment monitoring. Ellie Workforce integrates directly into existing browser-based workflows and connects with transportation management systems, load boards, carrier networks and compliance platforms. The system escalates exceptions to human operators for judgment calls while maintaining oversight capabilities. CEO Robert Nathan said brokerages mastering autonomous operations leadership will outpace competitors unable to match their efficiency. The launch builds on previous Ellie capabilities introduced throughout the past year, including carrier verification, AI-powered outreach scoring, rate negotiation intelligence, governance controls and shipment tracking features.
