Etihad Cargo Doubles Down on Paris With Second Weekly Freighter Service

Etihad Cargo is expanding its freight operations to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, adding a second weekly freighter flight to meet growing demand across specialized cargo categories. The carrier transported more than 26,000 tonnes to and from the French capital last year, moving pharmaceuticals, perishables, equine shipments, and cultural artifacts through dedicated service offerings. The expansion strengthens connections between France, Abu Dhabi, and markets across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Etihad operates a fleet of five Boeing 777 freighters and has firm orders for 10 Airbus A350Fs. The cargo division generated $1.2 billion in revenue during 2025, up 8 percent year-over-year, while volumes climbed 9 percent to 703,000 tonnes. A partnership with Chinese express carrier SF Airlines contributed to these performance gains.
