Etihad Cargo Opens Industry's First Airline-Led Training Academy

Etihad Cargo has unveiled the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub, the first logistics training academy launched by an airline. The Abu Dhabi-based carrier developed the platform to standardize quality across its network while strengthening risk management and operational consistency. The hub offers curriculum covering Etihad's operating standards, product frameworks, safety protocols and international regulatory compliance, alongside industry-certified programs created with accredited institutions. The academy serves Etihad Cargo staff, partners, customers and air cargo professionals globally. University students receive complimentary access to build pipeline talent for the sector. The platform enables personalized performance tracking and operates on mobile-first design for round-the-clock accessibility. Stanislas Brun, chief cargo officer at Etihad Airways, said the hub consolidates operational expertise and learning pathways to elevate capability standards across global air cargo. Dr Nadia Al Bastaki, chief people and corporate affairs officer, emphasized the carrier's commitment to workforce development and knowledge sharing within the industry.
