FedEx Corp. has rolled out an online booking portal designed to streamline temperature-controlled pharmaceutical shipments across Europe. The new platform consolidates previously fragmented processes for life sciences companies managing vaccines, biologics and other temperature-sensitive medicines. Pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech firms and clinical trial operators can now handle onboarding, packaging orders, scheduling and returns through a single digital interface. Previously, these tasks required manual coordination across multiple parties. The portal covers 26 European markets for domestic and intra-European air and road shipments. FedEx Temp-Assure Advantage, the carrier's validated temperature-control service, provides specialized packaging from fulfillment centers paired with certified distribution facilities to maintain product integrity. The platform launches ahead of peak shipping season as demand accelerates for specialty pharmaceuticals and biologics. The digitization effort aims to reduce administrative burden while improving visibility and control over temperature-sensitive goods throughout the supply chain.
