FedEx Europe has introduced an online booking and management platform for pharmaceutical and life sciences companies to ship temperature-sensitive cargo across the continent. The portal operates in 26 European markets and integrates with the FedEx Temp-Assure Advantage solution, designed to streamline fourth-quarter demand management. The platform supports both air and road transport for shipments up to 68 kg across intra-European and domestic routes. Pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech firms and clinical trial operators can now digitally manage shipments maintained at frozen (-25°C to -15°C), refrigerated (2°C to 8°C) or controlled room temperature (15°C to 25°C) conditions. The solution features advanced vacuum-insulated packaging and phase-change materials capable of maintaining temperature integrity for more than 96 hours. CEIV Pharma-certified facilities ensure compliance throughout transit, while reusable packaging containers reduce environmental impact.
