FedEx Names Deloitte Veteran Edmunds to Board

FedEx Corporation has elected Mark Edmunds to its board of directors, bringing decades of executive experience from the professional services sector. Edmunds spent 38 years at Deloitte, where he rose to vice chairman and senior partner, holding roles including US energy and utilities leader and west region managing partner. He also served on Deloitte's US board of directors, including service on the finance and global committees. His career centered on energy, utilities, and renewables sectors, with prior service to the Independent Petroleum Association of America in Washington, D.C. Edmunds brings established public company board credentials, currently sitting on Westrock Coffee's board and previously serving as Chesapeake Energy director from 2018 to 2021. At FedEx, he will chair the audit and finance committee and join the cyber and technology oversight committee. "We are excited to have Mark join the FedEx Corporation Board of Directors," said R. Brad Martin, executive chairman of the FedEx Board. "His extensive background advising top-tier multinational organizations and his proven track record in financial and strategic governance will make him a vital asset to our board and our ongoing enterprise initiatives." The appointment follows John Dietrich's departure as executive vice president and chief financial officer on June 1.
