Flydubai has secured a long-term ULD management agreement with Unilode Aviation Solutions to support its expanding cargo operations. The deal covers full outsourced management of unit load devices for both the airline's new freighter services and upcoming widebody fleet.
Services include ULD supply, maintenance, repair, fleet planning, repositioning and digital asset tracking leveraging Unilode's global maintenance network. The carrier recently launched dedicated freighter operations through a wet-lease agreement for three Boeing 737-800 freighters with SolitAir, beginning October 1. Operations provide maindeck capacity ahead of peak season.
Flydubai operates 98 passenger 737 aircraft and anticipates future Boeing 787 Dreamliner deliveries. The partnership aims to optimize equipment utilization and strengthen service reliability across the airline's expanding network.
