Ground services provider FlyUs is establishing a new office in San Juan after securing a contract to represent Air Canada Cargo at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. The Canadian airline will operate three weekly freighter flights between San Juan and Toronto Pearson International Airport, with FlyUs handling agency services. The arrangement capitalizes on Puerto Rico's position as the leading U.S. bioscience manufacturing hub by export volume. FlyUs plans to prioritize pharmaceutical shipments, drawing on its track record managing temperature-controlled cargo including pharmaceuticals, perishables, and flowers. FlyUs already represents Air Canada across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ecuador, and Central American markets. FlyUs currently represents 24 airlines at 28 global locations, with additional office expansions planned through 2027.
