Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration officials removed 10 electronic logging devices from the agency's registered list, citing failures to meet minimum technical requirements under federal regulations. The revoked devices include Light and Travel ELD from Light and Travel LLC, PREMIERRIDE LOGS from Premierride Logs LLC, 2BRO ELD and 305 ELD from Two Bro Security & IT Solutions. Today's action brings the total revoked devices to 23 since January 2025. Carriers operating the revoked equipment face a compliance deadline of September 8, 2026. Until that date, roadside inspectors will request paper logs from drivers instead of issuing citations. After the deadline, operators face out-of-service orders and violations recorded in the agency's safety database. FMCSA Administrator Derek Barrs emphasized the agency's commitment to ensuring only compliant devices operate on U.S. roads. Accurate hours-of-service records are essential to protecting public safety, supporting fair enforcement, and ensuring accountability across the commercial motor vehicle industry.
