FourKites, a leading supply chain visibility provider, is repositioning its platform beyond real-time shipment tracking toward autonomous execution capabilities. The company launched Booking Connect and enhanced Inventory Twin features this year, designed to automatically resolve operational issues rather than simply identify them. The new tools use live supply chain data to trigger AI-driven workflows that handle freight booking, documentation processing, inventory management and exception resolution with minimal human involvement. Inventory shortages automatically generate stock transfer recommendations that flow into Booking Connect. There, the system selects carriers, completes bookings and initiates tracking within a single platform. The application also ingests carrier contracts, compares negotiated rates and automates documentation. FourKites contends that visibility alone no longer satisfies market demands. "Every dashboard alert without an automated action is an unrecovered cost," according to Stephen Dyke, director of strategic solutions.
