Freightos has committed to the IATA Digitalization Leadership Charter, pledging to advance interoperable digital connectivity standards throughout global air cargo operations. The vendor-neutral freight platform will support five strategic priorities: establishing industry-wide interoperability and data standards, strengthening cybersecurity defenses, accelerating paperless cargo workflows, driving innovation through automation, and promoting responsible adoption of emerging technologies. Chief executive Pablo Pinillos emphasized that real-time digital connectivity and standardized data exchange reduce integration friction across the freight network. IATA cargo digitalization head Jonathan Parkinson noted that the participation of leading digital platforms strengthens collective efforts to advance data sharing and standards adoption, including ONE Record implementation. The collaboration is expected to help shape a more agile, intelligent and resilient global freight ecosystem.
