FreightTech Awards Open Nominations for 2027 Competition

FreightWaves will accept nominations this fall for the 2027 FreightTech Awards, the ninth edition of North America's premier recognition program for innovative freight technology and transportation companies. The awards culminate during the Future of Freight Festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Companies may self-nominate or be nominated by others. An internal research team and journalists will vet submissions to identify 100 finalists. An independent panel of approximately 80 judges—including industry CEOs, academics, investors and logistics executives—then ranks the finalists. An external accounting firm, Henderson, Hutcherson & McCullough, audits the points-tally voting system. Last year's awards highlighted automation and fraud prevention trends. Highway secured the top position for a second consecutive year. DAT Freight and Analytics ranked tenth following acquisitions of Convoy, Trucker Tools and Outgo. Robinson returned to the list at number 13 after five years absent.
