Kevin Price assumed the role of Georgia Ports Authority president effective July 1. He transitioned from his position as chief operating officer at Gateway Terminals of Savannah, where he served since 2022. Price will assume the chief executive officer title when current CEO Griff Lynch retires in August 2027 after 15 years leading the authority. Price brings three decades of maritime industry experience, including prior service as chief operating officer at Virginia International Terminals. A Darden School of Business executive program graduate, Price holds an undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Lynch, who departs after a 38-year maritime career, endorsed the transition. "Kevin is the perfect candidate to take GPA and our team to the next level," Lynch said.
