Gulftainer is transforming from a port terminal operator into a diversified logistics provider. The Emirati company will establish four business divisions—GT Ports, GT Logistics, GT Parks, and GT Maritime—to support a major capacity expansion at its Khor Fakkan facility. Khorfakkan Commercial Terminal will grow from 3.5 million teu to 5 million teu, with a long-term vision exceeding 10 million teu. Chief Executive Farid Belbouab announced the expansion will integrate with UAE's Etihad Rail network, establishing a multimodal gateway connecting sea, road, and rail transport. Complementary logistics parks at Al Dhaid and Sajaa will provide 2.3 million teu of annual inland capacity. The integrated ecosystem will offer warehousing, cold chain, container freight stations, distribution centers, e-commerce fulfillment, and cross-docking services across the Middle East.
